Is anyone aware if the new Plaza premium lounge is open at YVR yet? I saw a report that it would be open Q2 2024 but haven’t seen any updates online. Flying back from Vancouver at end of June so was hoping we wouldn’t have to use the temporary lounge which hasn’t got great reviews!
TaFlew out of YVR on 27th Jan and we were still subjected to the temporary lounge which is dire! Fortunately the Cathay lounge opened 1 hour before our gate time so we dived in there for a very speedy dinner. Definitely avoid the temporary lounge if you can, hopefully Plaza will have reopened by the time you go.

Yes, it’s a pity the Cathay lounge is not open all day!

I haven’t seen an official opening date announcement yet, but it’s possible it could be ready by your June flight.
