“Your Card has been delinked with Google Pay”

Got an email from amex saying my card had been successfully delinked from Google Pay. But when i check… it is still linked… anyone else get this?

My wife had this email on her supplementary Marriot Amex. No idea why but as she doesn’t use it via GPay very often, I’d wondered if it was an automated process.

Have you checked whether it’s related to card expiry? Has the card recently been renewed? It happened to me on my BAPP and it was just card renewal, so I linked the new one and Bob’s your uncle.
