Who gets the points ?

Recently stayed at an intercontinental hotel with my wife and used my IHG rewards for the first time. Do we both get the points or just the lead booking name ?

The points go to whoever’s account the room was booked on. Though if by “used my IHG rewards” you mean you paid for the room with points, you won’t get any for a reward night.

And that person will also be awarded the qualifying night(s) even if it is a reward stay.
