Which account gets the £5 discount?

Now have Premier bank account and the card (just got the 25,000 Avios)

Is it the card fee that is reduced by £5? Do I have to ask for it as it shows £20 in card account

The bank account in theoery gets a £5 credit once per month marled as Dual Reward. Albeit I’ve only had it credited once and Barclays customer ‘service’ have been useless; doing that CS Failure 101 thing of explaining how it’s not something they can fix, only person who can do it is Department 462 in Unit 12, who only operate 12-2pm on the day of a full moon and the time zone used for those working hours changes depending on whether it was Prue or Paul who set the technical challenge that week. I exaggerate slightly but not much tbh.

I messaged Barclays through app chat and £5 credit was added to my credit card account within a couple of hours. Impressive

Should be on 2nd of month apparently
