Where is my IB number on ba.com and why isn’t it showing if I added at booking?

I just booked a flight on ba.com (not logged in) and added my IB number to the booking but on both ba.com (now logged in) and on my app, it doesn’t show any number and is prompting me to add my BAEC number. If I hit the “Add your frequent flyer number” link on ba.com now that I’ve booked and I’m logged in, will it let me add Iberia or just automatically add BA? I’ve gone on to the RAM site to check and it’s also showing no number assigned but when I try and add it, it doesn’t stick.
Looking forward to this year of pain transitioning to Iberia being over, and I’m gutted at having to do it after being BA Gold for 15 years.Any reason why you didn’t just book on Iberia app/site? WOW! I’ve been finding just the opposite — Iberia flights are close to 50% more expensive in general and definitely on this route (Lisbon – LHR in Euro business). No dice finding my details on the app or on the IB site. There is a definite war on putting other OneWorld partners’ numbers on bookings — we are having the same issue with Qatar right now, which is refusing to recognise Sapphire status and give us free seat selection.
Have you tried QR chat? They’ve tweaked my bookings a couple of times to allow free seat selection when I’ve had the same problem.
