I have just read an article stating that Virgin Atlantic routes are all back in operation i.e. pre pandemic. I know this is not true as MAN to LAS or MAN to LOS/SFO have not returned as yet.
Adding a route back into service is not a 5 minute thing and must surely be planned months ahead. Could this article have ignored a news embargo and Virgin will make an announcement soon?
Is there a “system” that indicates future expected flights i.e. who/what is flying where and when?
Perhaps Rob knows an answer to this sort of thing.
Manchester to Vegas was cancelled prior to COVID. Manchester to Los Angeles is due to resume next summer, not that I would want to fly from Manchester at the moment.
“Our Manchester-Los Angeles flights will restart later than originally planned, with our expectation that these flights will now resume in 2023.
Where did the article appear?
Some sites I’d trust even less than Boris to be accurate.
