When can you actually downgrade without losing bonus Avios and upgrade voucher?

If I get the Barclaycard Avios plus card and spend £10,000 in the first month and receive both the 25,000 Avios and the upgrade voucher, when can I actually downgrade to the Barclaycard Avios card and still retain the Avios and voucher?

It’s already been confirmed that you keep the voucher. I can’t see why you wouldn’t keep the avios as long as you keep the plus card until they are awarded to avoid any IT glitches.

It’s possible that you’d lose any non-transferred Avios, but clearly no-one yet knows how this works.
