We’re in Salzburg atm and due to fly home tomorrow but my wife has been admitted to hospital with pneumonia. If she’s allowed out in the morning we can still make the existing flight but if she’s unable to how late can I request to rebook? (there are seats available on the following day)
You didn’t mention the airline!
If it’s avios then 24 hours before departure. Other airlines will have their own rules.
No matter the airline it would be worth calling as you have a good reason to delay flying (and they wouldn’t want a pneumatic passenger on board as that could cause other issues)
Ah good point. It’s with BA and another good point about explaining the reason. I’ll call them once we have a better idea of what’s happening
