Visiting the US

My wife and I are looking to use the US, MPC mobile app, with the relevant ESTA ,to speed up the entry process at SanDiego airport. The info states that this is available at T2…does that assume that all international flights are cleared through T2 ?
Any useful pointers would be appreciated. Thanks.

I think SAN is now up to two International flights LH from Munich and BA from LHR. There is a small CBP presence only in T2 which you will pass through, they are usually very efficient. I’m not sure about MPC as that wasn’t available last time I went through.

T2 is home to flights with:

Air Canada
Alaska Airlines
American Airlines
British Airways
Delta Air Lines
Edelweiss Air
Hawaiian Airlines
Japan Airlines
Lufthansa
United Airlines
Westjet

All of the OneWorld airlines use Terminal 2 at San Diego, including the BA flight from London. So do other international airlines like Lufthansa and Air Canada.

Southwest use Terminal 1 at San Diego, but I don’t know if any of their limited international routes operate from there.
