Is anyone else having issues with the app and the website? I’d previously held a cabin whilst waiting for the voucher to come through but ended up making a booking via a referral code.
The website only shows my “held” booking under my account and says it will expire yesterday. No details of the actual booking. I have recieved the confirmation email so it’s definitely booked.
The app works if I go into settings and add an additional journey but then crashes before I can do much. Reinstalling the app hasn’t helped.
I’ve tried the chat feature, spent an hour waiting today and got cut off. The phone line says it’s not accepting calls. The email address says its no longer functioning and use their chat function. The messaging function doesn’t allow enough space to send a useful message. Anyone got any ideas?Is anyone else having issues with the app and the website? Just received an email from Virgin Voyages detailing a change in the hours on the French Daze & Ibiza Nights cruise:
We wanted to pop by and let you know that we’ve made an update to your French Daze & Ibiza Nights sailing, departing on 9/11/2022.
Based on feedback from you, our Sailors, we’re excited to share that you’ll now have a bit more time to spend onboard our beautiful lady ships.
• We’ll depart from Olbia an hour earlier at 5:00 pm instead of 6:00 pm.
• After your overnight stay, we’ll depart from Ibiza two hours earlier at 4:00 pm instead of 6:00 pm.

That’ll be someone in PR/Marketing trying to put a positive spin on bad news as you could always spend more time on the ship if you so desired.
We had a similar notification for our future French Daze cruise. Thankfully doesn’t impact us *too* much as we’ve already seen Ibiza on the Irresistible Med cruise last month.
Leaving an hour earlier from Olbia is annoying though!
It is annoying. I wonder if its a fuel saving exercise? Less speed needed = probably some substantial savings!

Wish i had seen this, i have literally just booked. Can we do it retrospectively ?
Sailors Loot – The Irresistible Med 18 Sept
It’s been four days and I’m still having tech issues. App doesn’t load the booking and keeps crashing, Web page is just a blank white screen. My partners date of birth is incorrect when he logs in on the app, even though its correct in the booking confirmation. We’ve still had no joy in contacting them. Anyone got an email address or a phone number which works? We’ve tried sending a message but you can only put two lines before it runs out of space.
They are reasonably quick on Twitter

Just booked our second cruise with Virgin after going earlier this year. Very impressed with the level of service and personality the staff give to every customer. Would echo others posters on how good The Wake is bar far our favorite restaurant on the trip. Razzle Dazzle, and Extra Virgin also impressed.
Will chuck out another sailor’s loot in the off chance anyone is looking.
