I have done exactly that. You may find that technically you shouldn’t be able to but it seems Virgin staff have a lot of discretion when it comes to the vouchers.

Thanks Tom. So, in theory, SFO/JFK-LHR one way for 2 booked in Premium and upgraded in Upper should be possible, right?

We flew HKG to LHR pre pandemic upgraded to Upper with vouchers so assume you will be fine.
