Looking at booking a peak flight using a voucher.
Is it possible to add the return a-la-BA?
What is the earliest I can call Virgin to book?
This was asked a couple of days ago so look down the BS forum for that post.
Obviously that should have been VS !
Yes, but they now re-price your outbound when you add the return which is usually very bad news. To avoid it, you need to book as 2 singles.
Can you do 2 singles with the voucher?
Yes, as long as you do it at the same time, as the concept of halved vouchers has disappeared.
This is effectively the same as an open jaw, split across PNRs.
I gave up.
Dynamic pricing spiked the redemption prices ridiculously, seems like I’ll have to let the vouchers go and transfer my VS miles to Hilton. And eventually cancel the card.
School holidays seem impossible
No consolation but many people will be in the same position. It will be very interesting to see, in 6 to 12 months time how badly the whole Virgin Flying Club thing has been impacted.
Obviously that should have been VS !
You were right the 1st time !
