Doing a few bus flights via virgin Australia September and October. Anyone found a way to join velocity being a uk resident?

The only issue I had when registering was having to select verification via email rather than mobile phone (it won’t let you enter a non-Aussie number). I have since had an email saying I’ll get double points on my first VA flight if credited within 3 months so it might be worth holding off until the end of the month to make sure you capture this bonus.
