‘afternoon folks
Anyone have experience of BA Vancouver bookings? We are planning a return trip in July ’26. I assume it’s not like the Oz panic but do we think I’ll have to pounce at -355 for outbound and then 2 weeks later ring to add the inbound? I’ll be using two Barclaycard vouchers PE-> Club. Grateful for input. Avios are reasonably plentiful….
Thanks
Indy
Vancouver is very popular as a cruise departure port, particularly for Alaska. The Amtrak to Seattle is about 4 hours I think which would give you an alternative return.
Have you looked at SeatSpy? Not 100% accurate but it provides a good picture of demand over the next 12 months.
We booked our Vancouvr flights for end July 5 months before. There were reasonable number of club seats available at that time.
Average popularity really, especially If you are using a 241 voucher, you should be ok.
We found it pretty easy, if you’re on the ball BUT I think there are 2 flights, 1 to LHR and 1 to LGW. LHR mostly has CS, LGW does not.
We booked 2x Club World seats EDI/LHR/YVR sing a BAPP 2-4-1 voucher for July 2025 in October 2024.
There was availability most days and most of that included flights from Heathrow. There are 2x LHR on at least some of the days in summer 2025 plus a daily LGW. As another poster has highlighted, LHR will probably be Club Suite by then, LGW probably still old yin-yang.
