Using Virgin Points to fly from London to Havana

Does anyone know if there’s a way to use VFC points to fly from London to Havana? I believe they are starting direct flights again in November.

I’ve used my points on several occasions in the past for this route, but the option has disappeared from Virgin’s booking page.

Any advice, or alternative options using VFC points, is appreciated.

I thought they had stopped before they started and Rob wrote an article about it

I think you have to call to use points on that route.

The service was pulled before it started. Rumour was that because Virgin now uses Delta’s reservation system, Delta was breaching US sanctions.
