Hi there,
I think I know the answer, but does using Google Pay or some other payment gateway negate the offers in the Amex app (e.g. 5% in Morrisons)? I’m increasingly used to using Samsung Pay myself and note how Amex cards are sometimes flakey when using contactless. I seem to have great offers on my Amex BA card but don’t carry it regularly. I might need to if I’m doing myself out of a deal by using a payment gateway.
Apple Pay worked for me. Curve doesn’t accept Amex.
Ooops. Of course Amex doesn’t work with Curve. How’d I forget that one? I still have 2p on an old card in Curve…
Offers track fine when paying using Google Pay
The T&Cs for most (if not all?) Amex offers will have the below. I’m not sure I’ve ever noticed an offer without this.
“This offer only applies to purchases on the Card to which the offer is saved (including where the Card has been added to a mobile wallet).”
Wallets aren’t really payment gateways anyway.
