If you have the standard car and wish to upgrade it, can you take the benefit of the double intro offer?
I have applied and received the Plus card as I can clear 3k in the first 3 months. Mrs Rivo applied for the standard card because she doesn’t spend as much and is unlikely to reach the 3k in 3 months.
However, my mum is having her cataracts done privately and a 3 grand an eye, her loving son has spotted an opportunity to reach the target on his card in one go and would like to do the same for his wife.
Does anyone know whether that is possible?

The BC Avios cards only allow one welcome bonus in any two year period. If you cancel, you have to wait six months before applying again, but still aren’t eligible for SUB before the two years.
