Hi, I’ve recently booked 2 cash rooms using the guaranteed connected room feature. I was wondering how likely it is to get an upgrade and would the upgrade be applied to both rooms? I’m Hilton gold.
Given that by definition they’ll have to pre-assign specific rooms in order to guarantee connectedness, I’d always assumed it reduces them to nearly zero.
They possibly will give a better view, but depending on the hotel only certain floors have the interconnected rooms.
It’s very unlikely, in the same way that booking a special meal tends to scrub your chance of a flight upgrade.
Try booking connected rooms in a category you want to be upgraded to to see what is possible.
Then contact the hotel and ask.
