I have just recently signed up for the Barclaycard Avios Plus card, but today I have been unable to make any online payments. It’s saying 3D verification failed, but I’m not receiving any texts or anything asking to verify. Not even large payments, both less than £100. Dont want to have to use my Amex as trying to hit my SUB.
I had been able to pay on Amazon yesterday.
Anyone else having problems?
Currently on hold to Barclaycard.
I had that issue too. Similarly, I just signed up for the card.
Here’s how it went for me. Called Barclaycard, told them im not getting 2FA. They asked if the attempted payments were fraud (as no authentication was made so immediately flagged up as fraud), obviously they weren’t. They told me they notified IT and I need to wait 6 days until IT resolved it. It was up and running in 2 days.

Yep, exactly the same, no 2FA received so they were flagged as fraud.
On hold for about 20 mins, but now resolved
