Trailfinders booked a Business Class flight London to Jo’burg March 2024 travelling December 2024 as part of a longer holiday. my wife has been awarded one level of points and I have been awarded a different level of points. Raised this via Exec Club – representative worked out what we should have got and I thought that was it. We both got separate replies saying the points awarded were correct!!!!!. Its like talking to a brick wall trying to get them to understand this totally inconsistent response.
Apart from that they maintain the avios should be worked out on ticket price (change in rules October 2023) – my understanding is if the price is not known (Trailfinders kept that secret) and/or it is booked through a travel agent (Trailfinders) the BA calculator should continue to be used – is that correct?
Are you both the same exec club level?
Other than that I have nothing to add. But award for the most annoying thread title of the day goes to….
Please stop shouting at us. All caps is just rude.
If you look in the individual entries for each flight in both yiur accounts and the price per leg (excluding proper taxes and airport feed) should be displayed there.
It’s perfectly possible that even on the same booking that the cost of the individual flights can vary per person.
