Forums Payment cards American Express Tracking supplementary bonus £500/3k

  • 756 posts

    Hi,
A while back there was a bonus to add a supplementary cardholder
Once you hit a £500 target the main cardholder gets 3k points

Is there a way to track the progress or even status on this?

I don’t know about the offer you are referring to, but many UK Amex cards offer a bonus for adding a Supplementary card to your account.

Gold and BAPP give 3000 for example. No requirement to use the card and not targetted.

You can track spending on your supplementary cards through your monthly statement.

OP is referring to the offer linked above. Looks as though that offer expired yesterday unfortunately if you missed.

I already had a supplementary cardholder on my Gold so did not go for it. You can track the spend by cardholder in transactions and in your statements, but there might not be a tracker like the other SUB’S usually have.

Worth noting that this is an outdated offer. In the T&Cs you’ll see references to 2021 – page was perhaps not taken down from last year.

Yep, just noted that. Says 31st July on the main page but doesn’t say the year, but in the T&C it mentions 2021. So OP, you might not be seeing a tracker because the offer is outdated, so you might have a fight to get those extra 3k points if they’re not forthcoming.
