I’m heading to Japan in a couple of weeks and it’ll be my only chance to use the Platinum international dining credit this year. It’s a rather overwhelming selection so I wondered if anyone had any good (or bad) experiences of restaurants on that list.
You are bit late as the reservations open up three months in advance and many good places get booked up quickly, especially as Pocket Concierge has a limited number of placed. I’d book whatever is available and suits you. You can’t really go wrong with food in Japan. I never had really bad food.
I was never going to book dinner three months in advance. Even now there’s an overwhelming amount of availability in that app so I’m sure I’ll get something pretty great, even if I’m going to miss out on some of the most in demand places.
Sorry I missed the thing that there are too many options.
If still available, my favourite on the list is Tsunahachi Tsunohazuan for tempura. It’s also inexpensive, especially for lunch so you can use your credit for other places. Teruya in Osaka was also nice, but your credit will be just enough for one person.
