sorry if I have missed the article (10/10 for the site Rob but 0/10 for the search facility) but what Virgin Tier points can I expect on a Delta flight – does it make a difference if its got a VS flight number ?
The table at https://flywith.virginatlantic.com/gb/en/partner-airlines/skyteam/delta.html covers it. Since VS is part of the DLAFKL JV, then the fact that the flight has a VS number makes no difference. It would only be a concern if you were flying a native VS partner, such as Indigo, where only VS-numbered flights accrue credit.
Note that a DL-earned TP (or, indeed, any non-VS-earned TP) does not count toward lifetime TP count.
Yes but it’s pathetic. A $280 DL flight from ORD to SEA in standard economy got me a whacking 1379 VS points and a whole 5 TP. (and that’s as VS Gold)

Indeed. I used to single-ticket with DL sectors, but no longer do, and use my BA Gold to earn on AA instead.
