Needing 20 tier points, I booked LGW to BOD with the recent double value part pay with Avios offer. Does anyone know how easy it is to get off and record immediately in Bordeaux? Hoping to avoid immigration.
Pretty sure you have to go landslide at BOD, the exit off the plane doesn’t spill out into the gate

Thanks. Just have to hope immigration is quick!
Immigration can be painfully slow both inbound and outbound. They are completely separate. Arrivals ground floor. On exit turn left and up escalator to departures.

Yes, post Brexit I don’t think landside B2B are feasible (or certainly rather more stressful!) in many cases with a British passport due to the increased processing times. BA schedules some of these flights with very short turnarounds (45mins) which means that boarding will be underway almost as soon as the aircraft arrives. Be as far forward as possible on the outbound
Thanks for the advise. To avoid the stress, I have binned the outbound (which cost an astonishing £39 and in booking class N) and bought a morning departure instead!
Did you book two separate flights? If it’s a single return ticket you’ll find your return sector is probably cancelled if you don’t fly the outbound!

Yes. Booked two singles. Thanks for the note though. I learned that tip from the likes of you 😀

This is very useful. Thank you.
