Unfortunately Costco gas stations dont take cash. One time in CA the pump wouldn’t accept any of my visa debit or credit cards. Attendant suggested I go into the store and pay cash for a costco gift card but even though I was on running on fumes at that point I decided to find somewhere else.

In the USA and on fumes. Ive been there in Ontario California. Had to turn air con off. turn off radio. drive slowly. window partially down to avoid drag. Nerves on edge. Never again. Incidentally whilst pulling up the same petrol station, a car was stranded around 400metres from the pump with driver walking towards it with a gas canister. Any numpty like myself.
