Taking advantage of Virgin Gold / Skyteam Elite Plus??

I did the status match to get Virgin Gold status in 2025, and now I am looking for the best way to experience the benefits.

I should be able to book a long haul flight with Air France Paris-Antananarivo, Madagascar which will burn almost all my Virgin points, plus get me into the Air France first class lounge in Paris. So thats a win.

But what about other Skyteam flights ? are there sweet spots or must-visit-lounge possibilities?

Anyone got a recommendation?

How do you get in the AF first class lounge with Virgin points?

Virgin gold status gives you top level status in Skyteam, so all you need is a ticker for a flight on a skyteam aeroplane departing Paris

That doesn’t get you in the first class lounge. You have to be flying La Premiere for that. You’ll be in the business class lounge.

Oh well, even less reason to fret about the Skyteam Elite Plus benefits.
