A round of departure time and aircraft changes have been loaded today. If you’ve got bookings it’s time to go and have a look at what you’ve been given. Need to accept the time change on the website to take the booking off standby and then see the seat map. Worked out ok from me with a swap from an A330-300 to A350.
Grrrrrr.
My 9:50am departure to Orlando is now 8:20am which is very much sub optimal.
Thanks for sharing – I didn’t get an email from Virgin informing me that my flight time has changed.
@Froggee, don’t know if you saw my post a few days ago about excellent points prices from MAN, especially one date near Easter?
Gosh ours to Madera have changed to a slightly better time for us, about an hour later.

I did thanks. We are going in October – two on points and two cash so kinda locked in now. Mrs Froggee does not like trains (they make her feel sick!) so Heathrow it is.
Coming back is a pain though as self connecting to BA. 2.5 hours would be possible but tight. The next flights is six hours. Grrrrrr. I have an Avios flight booked for the six hour connection but I’m sure time will fly in the Virgin arrivals lounge.
Meanwhile the direct flights from Edinburgh are obscenely priced.
As are they from MAN – our March date (well before the start of the Easter holidays) is over £3k pp return in UC, so a saver points booking is incredible value. After subtracting the surcharges and cc annual fee, it comes out about 9p per point 😮
On the same date, UC from LHR was 260k points 😱
For future reference, you could drive to MAN in just over 3 hours the night before and have a very comfortable night at the new HI, which is a short (mostly covered) stroll from T2 from where VS departs.
Our AF flight was cancelled and moved by 12 hours. Hope we can cancel foc
You should be able to get a full refund, however you should probably look other options, if there are any, and try and negotiate a change first, especially if prices have gone up.
