Forums Other Housekeeping Sub forums for different Avios airlines?

Perhaps now that there are so many airlines using Avios it would be useful to have an Avios Forum with Sub Forums for BA, EI, IB, VY, QR, AY etc so that the specific nuances (aka sweet spots) can be better utilised!.

Potentially. My obvious reaction, though, is that it adds more complexity. For example, at the moment you can only book Finnair via ba.com as you can’t do transfers yet – so where do the posts go? Logically into BA.

Even when transfers are available, you’ll be able to book via BA and Finnair Plus (as you can now with BA and Qatar) – so where’s the obvious home for posts? Especially posts comparing differences in taxes and availability?

One thing even we don’t really explore much is when third party airlines differ in price between schemes. For example, American Airlines transatlantic redemptions are MASSIVELY cheaper via Qatar than via BAEC. Once Finnair is up and running, we are likely to see (for eg) Cathay Pacific Avios tickets having three different prices – via BA, via Qatar PC and via Finnair Plus. How do you manage all that if you have sub-forums?
