Status match for Marriott & Hilton

Hey folks – anyone know of a good way to get status match at Mariott. Im at Diamond today on Hilton and will be moving to Mariott this year

Marriott don’t do any status match. But you can call them to request a status challenge

They do a challenge. I believe you need to stay 16 nights in 3 months for Platinum Elite.

Redemptions used to count – they did when I did mine years ago – but in the back of my mind I think things have changed.
