Unbeknown to me, young daughter booked a weekday 720am Ryanair Stansted flight to Prague. The train gets into Stansted at 540am and she has checked luggage. Would you say that’s a bit tight? Not sure what security will be at that time. Thanks so much.
In my experience that’s a busy time for Stansted. But, security does move at pace.
Top tip if she doesn’t book fast track. When she gets to security veer right – there’s a less used security channel you can use which is often considerably faster.
Its slightly tight but you should be ok – Ryanair have a crowded check in zone first thing in the morning and at some point around your arrival time they open a second zone, meaning the queue thins. If she doesn’t want to splash out on FastTrack security, walk towards the FastTrack security entrance and there are a couple of free security lanes next to this which are normally less busy that the main security entrance.
Train tickets are checked manually at Stansted. They also spend time sorting out the contact-less passengers. It’s all very slow to exit the platform.
Consider earlier arriving coach services or hotel for the night before.
