Discuss today's stories:
Is there an option to use Miles & More Miles to book Avianca flights via a combined Cash&Points option or similar?
I am looking at Heathrow departures, mainly to fly to Bogota.
I could generate about 20000 Miles & More miles at present. I would be new to Miles & More.
What is the availability of using Miles&More miles to try to book Avianca flights?
Would part pay miles mixed with cash work, or do Miles&More not offer this?
Alternatively, I could generate about 26000 Delta miles, but I believe this would only work if I were in the USA, not from London.
I have never used Delta for reward flights, so I do not know the scheme.
If you sign up for the schemes, you should see whats available to you, using the partner airlines.
Miles & More can at times be a little fiddly, but worth checking out.
With Delta its fairly straight forward. Sign up and check availability on the dates ud like to go. We recently have done this with LATAM for family. Once we were sure what flights we wanted, i linked my Amex MR points and transferred the required amount (took less than 30 mins to transfer). Booked tickets in less than 5 mins, got the LATAM code when i logged into Delta to check on my flights.
