Sent an email to the LHR T2 Plaza Premium lounge to ask if showers were included for Dragonpass or American Express Platinum cardholders. They replied that in both cases showers are £13.20 extra.
Seems strange that even Amex Plat are expected to pay for showers now?
They also have no date for the reopening of the LHR PP arrival lounges.
This is not new AFAIK – ’twas the same before the pandemic.

Otherwise, there wouldn’t be much point to an arrival lounge. Getting cleaned up is their primary purpose.
I think it varies by the loung.
I have used showers at AUH, BKK and few other airports without paying anything while using platinum or priority pass however my recollection is LHR lounges always charged extra fees for shower usage.
