I hope this is the appropriate forum for this question, but regardless, I’m sure someone here knows the answer!
When clicking through the BA portal to Selfridges.com (currently earns at 12 Avios per pound), will Avios be awarded when paying with a voucher/gift card?
The terms are not very clear about it.

Good question. The answer to this often depends on whether the shop gives points for buying gift cards in the first place, because for obvious reasons it is one or the other.
I’m guessing this is a big purchase and you only have a small gift card and so are worried about losing Avios on the lot.
If not, and you’re only buying something costing roughly the value of the gift card, then you need to bite the bullet – the best thing to do is get the gift card offloaded.
