Sorry if this has been asked before. Now we’ve moved to revenue earning, if I book an Avios redemption but the pay for seats, are they eligible for Avios?

I have just purchased some seats on an avios booking. I assumed revenue earning would still apply, but 3 days after i’ve bought the seats, no avios yet. BA does say allow 72 hours, so I will see what happens. Will post an update here next week

You won’t get the Avios (beyond those earned on the credit card used) for seating until after you have flown.
When will the Avios be credited to my account?
The same as before, up to three days after the flight or eligible add-on has been used. Air partners can take up to seven days to credit.
