Same tier points for partner airline flights if booked on BA website?

This might be a basic question for frequent users of this forum but I haven’t confidently answered this question myself from my searches!

Under the new Executive club system for awarding tier points, if I were to book a business class seat on a JAL-operated flight from LHR-HND through the BA website, would i get the same number of tier points as if I were booking onto a BA-operated LHR-HND flight? The JAL flight does appear to have a BA flight code (ie. BA XXXX) but this doesn’t show up on the BA website, I just ascertained this from googling the JAL flight number.

I’m confused whether this counts as a BA marketed flight and therefore would be awarded the same number of points as a BA flight.

That’s a good question and for completeness I would just add as questions:

– what if the JL flight can be booked on BA’s website with a BA number?

– what if the JL flight is booked with an OTA as a BA number? (that is posible and happens many times, specially with systems like Concur. So important for those flying for work).

– what if you book the JAL flight as a BA holiday with a BA number?

– what if you book the JAL flight as a BA holiday keeping the JL flight number instead?
