Forums Other Flight changes and cancellations help Ryanair reschedules flights without telling me!

  • 14 posts

By chance I found out that our flight MAN-AGP next June has been rescheduled to leave either 3.5 hours earlier or 11.5 hours later than the original time. Neither is acceptable to us. I had an online “chat” to someone in Poland and they advise that I can only apply for a refind once they email me with the changes but cannot tell me when that will be!!
I need the refund now to rebook my flights but they just wont tell me when I will get this official email although the new times are up on their website now.

Do I just wait or anything else I can do? Thanks Peter

They have a tendency to do this, I had the exact same thing happen MAN-AGP earlier this year.

Check what departure times they are selling now, they may not have shown you all the options.

Ryanair put us on a much later flight which didn’t suit us at all, but I went on chat and they agreed to move us to one close to our original departure time with no quibble, so maybe try that before you cancel and rebook (especially if the price has now gone up).

Once you get the email, they’ll help you. Until then they wont do anything.

They’ll change it to LPL-AGP or LBA-AGP (for example) if they suit better. Or they’ll do a refund.

They changed our rescheduled TFS-EDI to TFS-MAN (which actually suited us better).

You just need to wait for the email unfortunately. The email is usually about 60 days prior to departure.

There’s a chance the flight times will change again, that’s why they won’t do anything yet. Less than ideal but it is what it is.
