I was emailed today to advise that I could Status Match into Vietnam Airlines’ Lotusmiles scheme.

Having run a dummy transaction, it would appear that a Royal Jordanian Golden Sparrow could match in as a Lotusmiles Gold, which is equivalent to SkyTeam Elite / Virgin Atlantic Flying Club and Flying Blue Silver.
The cost is USD 159.00 for 12 months.
Really not sure if it makes sense for me but might for others.
No lounge access as SkyTeam Elite though when flying with other airlines.
Think Rob had mentioned before that you can’t use status secured through the status match website to leverage status with another loyalty programme being advertised through the same website.
