@Froggee I am most honoured to have been considered for an invite as I consider NEC is worse than NFI. I would have been happy with the cheap seats and I too would have baulked at the £600 dining experience as I’m sure the catering wouldn’t have been up to snuff and worse than your proposed eating venue. I haven’t been to a tattoo since being obliged to run around a field at school with about five other people carrying a huge Union Jack in front of HM for her Silver Jubilee.

There is also the minor issue that if your local harridan, Nicola, gets her way my visa may not arrive in time for next August given the efficiency of her administration.
