Anybody got any experience of Revolut Ultra ?

Nope. Considered it but didn’t really see the value.

I’m happy with the standard FT sub which comes with Metal. And if I ever want to try WeWork then metal comes with a monthly pass anyway.

If you were doing massive amounts of fx then it could be worthwhile.

    What grabs you about it?

Going belly up/bankrupt and ceasing operations are different things, especially in the US where Chapter 11 is designed to keep businesses operating while they reorganise. It has been a huge source of competitive advantage for US legacy airlines vs European ones. SAS has been in bankruptcy since the summer of 2022, but is still flying.

The WeWork companies outside the US/Canada are not within the bankruptcy estate.

    Just thinking about various options.

Likewise. Metal for FT and VPN subscription. It saves me £15 per month. As a homeworker I can see an occasional use for the WeWork pass, but WeWork does look shaky. Ultra is worth considering for anyone who wants frequent lounge access when flying economy, but access is poor in the UK.

You can get FT standard sub for £150.

Unlimited lounge pass is £180 through Halifax / Lloyds WE MC.

I haven’t used the lounges yet. But so far love the FT subscription.

    Safety net of Insurance.

The Instant savings pots work well

Hotel Cashback for fully refundable rooms in hotels where you don’t have status os good. Ove done loads of research on these.

CS is 2 mins to reply in the App. Ultra get priority.

Not saying I’ve got all my fee back yet. But a bit more FX and Share Trades and I probably will.

If the Amex model isn’t exactly for you. It’s an interesting mix of benefits that they offer
