Hi I am new to this and need help.
I have a business companion voucher which we want to use for the Maldives. I have managed to log on at midnight and book our outbound seats but I don’t know how to get the return. I understand i can do the midnight thing and pay in full with avios and then get half the avios refunded. However I am 64,000 short to do it that way. If I wait to call up the seats will probably be gone. I have a friend who has avios I can borrow. Can I add him to friends list and do it that way? I’m so confused! Thank you 🙏🏼You’d need to add your friend to a household account to use his avios.
You’ve picked a difficult route for your first time but you’ve done very well to get the outbound seats. The long “How to book the return at T-355” thread is well worth investing some time in reading for strategies to secure your inbound flight.
If you miss out on your inbound seats, a Plan B could be to get a separate flight to DOH or DXB and use the companion voucher from there.
