Has anyone successfully reordered a Gold card and bag tags for the new membership year?
Tried this morning but was getting error messages on the BA site, not that an error message on the BA site is unusual… 😉
Not an answer to your question, but I’m curious to know what advantages you see to tagging your bags with Gold.
Yes, via this link: https://www.britishairways.com/travel/ecproductrequest/execclub/_gf
Main advantage I find is when the gate staff inevitably do the rounds to check your wheelie bag into the hold they don’t bother you if they see the gold tag.
Also been handy when on the phone to the Executive Club and they ask for your membership number!

I keep a card in case my phone dies, I’ve never used a tag on my bag as it seems naff but I did once see an enthusiastic gate agent going around before boarding had even been called and selecting what she deemed oversize cabin bags for checking in. Flight was obviously full but it was quite unusual, that’s about the only circumstance I can think where it may help (if you have an alternative FF number on your boarding pass for instance).
