Referrals from Business Gold

I’m currently 10 months into a 24 month break from Personal AMEX cards so that I can qualify for a personal welcome bonus in the future.

I have the AMEX business gold and I have an offer of 20k MR for a referral.

If I refer myself for the personal basic card:
1) do I get the 20k referral reward from the business card?
2) does that reset the 24 month clock to qualify for personal welcome bonuses on new personal cards?

1 Yes, but you put yourself at the front of the queue if Amex starts to shut down and ban self-referrers, as it has been doing in the US

Self referring is a real no-no. If you care at all about your relationship with Amex then give it the widest of wide berths.
