Upgraded? Yes, booked base room and I appear to be in a Premium City View (highest category available), though no fanfare made about this at check-in so not 100%.
    Lounge Access: N/a
Breakfast: Yes, quite good it was too
Welcome gift: Two packs of cookies and a handwritten welcome card
Late checkout: 2pm, pushed my luck with 4pm but politely denied
    Stay duration: 1 night

Check in took all of 2 minutes – perfect. All the staff are lovely and I paid an outrageous £43 + 13000 points (I think the points knocked about £20 off). Very happy yet again to be a VIP.

Name: London Victoria Park Plaza Hotel
    City: London, UK
Upgraded? Yes, to a slightly larger room
    Lounge Access: Not offered
    Service: 5/10
    Overall rating for price: 4/10
Comments: Prepaid for an in-room extra, which never materialised. It took over three months and numerous phone calls and emails to recover the cost. I noticed yesterday that the stay has not registered in the app and no points were awarded (the stay was in late-January).
I will not be back to that or any other Raddision.

The breakfast selection and location and view from this hotel I love better than my local in Brum.

Had a similar incident where a stay didn’t register so contact via web form online and received and email in a day or two apologising and adding the stay onto the account and points too.

Upgraded? Yes, booked base room (£72) and upgraded to a junior suite on 19th floor. Spacious room with good view, bit tatty in places, but ridiculous value for £72.
Lounge Access: Yes, but barely worth having – lounge is a roped off area on the same floor as the bar and restaurant. When I visited in was unstaffed, fridges locked, there was a bowl of fruit and a water dispenser. I understand there are canapés from 1700-1900 but didn’t fit with my plans.
Breakfast: Very good, plentiful hot and cold spread and a relatively calm room to eat it in too.
Welcome gift: Nothing. Two bottles of water in the room, but I think this came with the room rather than the status.
    Late checkout: didn’t need.
    Stay duration: 1 night

    Name: Radisson Individuals Blackpool FC
    City: Blackpool
Upgraded: No, and no acknowledgement of VIP status
    Lounge Access: N/a
    Breakfast: Yes
    Welcome gift: None
Late checkout: None – was offered late check out at £15 per hour
    Stay duration: 2 nights
Restaurant: Breakfast sub par, tinned fruit etc.

Was overcharged by about £30 on check-in against the credit card guaranteed booking price. I showed the confirmation email to reception with no effect. The system now seems to show the higher price. Have called VIP line twice and got different email addresses to complain to, needless to say they haven’t responded yet. Also room wasn’t cleaned on 2 day stay. Avoid this property.

The two Radisson group hotels in Nuremburg

    Name: Park Plaza Nuremburg
    City: Nuremburg
Upgraded? Yes, from base Superior Room to Executive Room on top floor, right in the roof so had a skylight rather than a window
    Lounge Access: N/a
    Breakfast: Yes
Welcome gift: some honey mustard crackers which were great and a handwritten welcome card
Late checkout: didn’t need, wasn’t offered
    Stay duration: 2 nights

Name: Park Inn by Radisson Nuremburg
    City: Nuremburg
Upgraded? Yes, from base Cosy Small Room that I think is only for sale to solo customers to I don’t know what. It was a big corner room above the entrance with a ton of natural light. Only two of these per floor but I don’t think it’s a separate catagory
    Lounge Access: N/a
    Breakfast: Yes
Welcome gift: oat bar and rhubarb soft drink, pre printed card
Late checkout: proactively offered. I asked for 4pm and they gave 5pm
    Stay duration: 1 night.

Both of these stays spoiled by air-conditioning issues. The Park Plaza was fine until the first morning when it became hot in the room. The second night was terrible but I’d had a few beers and didn’t bother complaining. On checkout they gave a €40 refund without asking.

Park Inn I couldn’t get the ac to work upon check in but with the window open it was a nice temperature in the room and thought it would be fine, especially after sundown. Upon getting back to the hotel after dark however it was obvious that it wasn’t so went to reception to ask. Night receptionist offered me a different room and I think gave me one of the “cosy rooms” I originally booked. Didn’t fill me with much confidence when opening the door to that room that there was already a plug in fan in the room. A/C did work in that it turned on but was completely ineffective and the fan or opening the windows didn’t help, so went back to reception saying I’d prefer the original room and asked for a fan. Cockroach on net curtain in original room

Will see in the morning if anything comes of it

Is there any way to find which EU radissons have lounges, even if its an old outdated text list or something lol. Looking thru the last few pages of posts on here, basically none of them seem to have one?

Hotel is fairly new with 26 floors and the 25th floor is currently an in guest lounge for small bites and drinks accessible for hotel residents but staff mentioned a new restaurant will launch in Q3/4 of 2025. But lately finding that all my stays don’t tend to have a welcome gift even when booking in advance even a welcome card.

So you’ve done a summer solstice stay at the most northerly chain hotel in the world. Now you have to follow it up by booking a midwinter stay also 😉

:)) That I can only do at the most southernly chain hotel in the world.

In fact, I was told that Gulf Stream makes the archipelago milder — even at this latitude!
