Doesn’t seem to be working quite right.
First of all it is hard to see which part is the quote and which is the reply. Or it is on the phone. Not checked on the desktop.
Plus when you click on the quote option you are not taken to the reply box on the bottom. As a result people might click quote several times thinking that the button isn’t working.
The reply box will appear in thread by clicking quote then reply. But would be better if it did it together.

This system of “nested” replies is awful. Although it keeps the conversation around one topic in one place, the advantage of a forum is that you can click on “recent topics” and go to the last post(s) on each to get up to speed. If you have to dig through multiple pages on each topic to find the last posts, it takes a long time.
Yeah, that was a quick experiment. We have removed nested replies now.

Glad to see nested replied removed. As Rui said, it just brought back the same issue finding recent replies to a particular post as we had in the comments on the main site. Quoting makes more sense in the context of a forum.
