    Hi All
Happy new year. I wish to get bronze or silver tier before April 2022. I have a standard blue ba amex downgraded last year from platinum. I have 2 x 2for1 vouchers for use by next year and also have 100,000 avios and 140 tier points , 85 further required

what are my quickest and cheapest options to get to the next tier before April 2022

    Thank you

Carnival in Spain with a flight and hotel deal, you could do four sectors via Madrid. Check Iberia.com as well.

The amex, avios and 241 vouchers don’t help as you only get TPs from cash flights.

For 85 TPs, to get bronze, a Club Europe return and an economy trip anywhere will get you there. Or for silver you need another 310 TPs, so a BA holiday under the double TP offer to an 80TP destination like Athens, Sofia etc would get you 160 x 2 = 320. Assuming you already have a couple of qualifying BA flights in your existing 140 TO total.

If you are an April year end, you might be better trying to get silver in the following TP year, ie after April 9 22 – that would give you silver for that year plus the following year, until May 24. You could do that in one go, on a UK regional BA holiday to an 80TP destination under the double TP offer. (40 + 80 + 80 + 40) x 2 = 480 TPs and 4 flights.

If the lower TP thresholds still apply to you the best thing to do would be to do a 5 night BAH trip in Club Europe ASAP to a 80TP destination eg Tenerife. That would get you 320TP (80TPx2x2) in the Double Tier Points promo currently running getting you over the TP for Silver. You will have to wait until they manually credit the double TP but you would be Bronze when you return from the holiday. You may also have to do a cheap UK domestic return flight to get the 4 BA segments required for Silver assuming you don’t have any so far.

Happy New Year all and Thank you for suggestions , i am looking to get to at least bronze this Month and then aim for a Sliver status for Feb-March as i plan to go to Dubai (Would that get me to sliver one way in economy? ) For bronze this month, i plan to book economy return Lon/Man (same day return) & Lon/jer (same day return) total cost of both £200. Not sure if there is anything cheaper i can get for a same day return ?

Apologies for hopping on this thread – I am looking to get Silver in the next 12 months. I have booked LHR-GCM-LHR-MAN in J for July which will apparently give me 320 tier points (not sure if this constitutes double tier points or not?) but I believe I will be Bronze after that. Will I then need another 280 tier points to get to Silver (plus at least one more BA flight)?
