I have attached my BAEC silver number to my QF flight in order to get free seat selection (and fast track and lounge access).
Does anyone know if the QF lounge staff can change my FFP to my QFF number, which has no status, as I would earn a higher value of QFF points than avios.
Qantas may be able to take care of this for you over the phone. Their systems seem to be able to hold 2 FF numbers in the same booking, so I think it might be possible for one to work for point accrual and the other for status benefits.
If not, they can certainly assign seats for you (and anyone travelling with you) on QF flights over the phone based on your BAEC Silver status even if your QF number is the main one in your booking. Lounge access should be easy enough with proof of One World Sapphire, at Qantas lounges anyway. Fast track could be trickier unless someone at the gate is willing to let you through manually based on proof of status.
