Qatar baggage check through question

We have booked business Avios flights on Qatar Airways for next week:

LHR – DOH 08:05 3 Nov
DOH – HKT 01:05 4 Nov

These are booked as 2 separate bookings. Will Qatar be able to check the baggage all the way through to Phuket to stop us having to collect bag / leave airport?

The main reason that we want to find out is that we would need to get a COVID test to enter Qatar!

I’ve had Qatar check bags to BA on seperate bookings multiple times from various outstations and it’s never been a problem, so I’d be pretty confident in a QR-QR throughcheck
