Linked my BA account to Qatar last year. I’m trying to book a flight using BA now but my Qatar Avios is higher than my BA Avios. Is there any reason why? I’ve enough Avios on my Qatar balance to book the flight but I want to book with BA as the Avios required for the flight is lower!
Why don’t you just move the required number of Avios from your Qatar account over to your BAEC account and then book via BA?
Have you tried refreshing / logging out and in again?
Whilst you can see your ‘total’ Avios via Qatar, they’re actually in separate pots. You’ll need to transfer them from Qatar back to BA to redeem on BA.

Diddn’t know I could do that as I thought the balance was ‘merged’!

I believe QR shows the total balance of BA+QR, BA shows just BA, so if you’ve moved your entire BA balance to QR and you later earn more in BA, the QR balance will seem to be higher
