As this now looks to be a regular offering, I’ll post the winning bids here (not available, once the auction closes).

It would be good for the winners to post any reviews/feedback, especially the Pitch-side VIP Experience, F&B offering and any extras.

Pre-event
Qatar Airways Privilege Club Collection were in touch by email in the days after winning the auction, with various pieces of information and “Champions Club” passes and match tickets attached as PDFs.
The day before the event, I was contacted by Qatar Airways agency representative with instructions as to arrival time and pitch-side experience time.
At the event
The Qatar Airways agent met us at the reception of the Champions Club hospitality space, which opened 2 hours before kick-off. The agent explained the procedure for the pitch-side experience and was happy to have a chat, but otherwise left us alone until it was time to go pitch-side.
The Champions Club was a large open-plan area (approximately 400 sq.m) with high tables and bar stools set in groups of 2, 4 and 6 with free seating on a first-come first-served basis. I estimate the maximum number of guests in the space at any time was about 100-150.
There were two bars: a Heineken bar with draught and bottled beer (including 0%), plus a champagne/wine bar, which I think also had spirits.
There was an extensive hot and cold food buffet – certainly enough for a full meal – including local specialities and desserts.
By creating an account in the official Champions League app, you could win a match shirt signed by the Slovan Bratislava team (predict half-time and full-time scores – the winner or closest wins the shirt).
There was also a raffle for a signed football.
Photo opportunities were available with the signed shirt, the signed football and there was a separate photo booth for the social media obsessives.
There was a DJ and also a band playing some low-key music.
Approximately 45 minutes before kick-off, we were met by a UEFA official and we (also the Qatar Airways agent), issued with special accreditation lanyards proceeded from the Champions Club through a service tunnel to behind one of the goals to watch the teams warm up. We were allowed to stay pitch-side for approximately 20-25 minutes. Plenty of time to chat football with the UEFA rep, take photos etc.
Notably, we were the only 2 people from the Champions Club who had the pitch-side experience – this is a Qatar Airways exclusive.
We were escorted back to the Champions Club and had time for another drink before kick-off.
Seating was in the main stand, which did mean going outside, up some stairs and then entering the stadium via turnstiles. However, there are dedicated lanes for UEFA guests and we were escorted all the way to the turnstiles, so there was no delay. That was where we said goodbye to the Qatar Airways agent.
Supposedly it was possible to return to the Champions Club at half-time, but considering the 2-3 minute walk to and from plus our doubts about how we would gain re-entry, we decided to stay in the stadium and bought a couple of beers from the stadium kiosk (Staropramen, 3€ for 500ml).
After full-time, the Champions Club remained open for 1 hour, with food and drink available throughout.
Mini footballs were handed out to each guest upon departure – until they ran out near the end of the hour!
Summary
Overall, I’d say this is pretty good value based on the price paid (20,200 Avios for 2 people).
I noted via the Hospitality section of the Champions League app that the experiences differ at each stadium. From location of the hospitality space (inside the stadium, a marquee outside the stadium, or even a marquee across a main road from the stadium!). The opening and closing hours of hospitality space vary likewise. It would be worth checking this before bidding if this is important to you.

The site seemed to crash (or was under denial of service attack by a winning bidder!) a few minutes before the auction closed last night.
I was trying to bid on the GNK Dinamo match but it wouldn’t accept the bid, then the site became completely unresponsive.
I suspect that is why the bids are lower than usual – there is usually late activity, but all those final values seem to be the same as what I saw about an hour before the close.
I won yesterday one of the packages and for me the site was working…going to write next week a summary about the experience.
Great write up Graeme. The lower end of these listings are a great way to go to football stadiums and destinations you won’t necessarily visit otherwise.
Report last night’s issue to the Qatar team (with screenshots, if you have any) to investigate what happened. Always the risk when placing last minute bids. I have seen site crashes on other platforms so Qatar PC isn’t unique.
To access the hospitality area in the Champions League app, the password is CCMDX, where X is the matchday. e.g. CCMD5 for matchday 5.
You then select the home club and it will show details of the hospitality arrangements.

Celtic FC vs Club Brugge KV 43,000Placed a bid for this one for a higher amount than this.
Avios have been deducted showing “In Progress” but not heard anything more!Interesting. Did you receive an email straight after the auction closed? “Congratulations, you won with Privilege Club Collection”?
I would advise you to email them to confirm if you are the winner: pccollection@qatarairways.com.qa
Might be related to the same issues that Graeme was experiencing. Regardless, pls keep us updated and let me know what final amount you won the listing for.
Thanks.

No, did not get an email at all but the site was having some problems around the auction close.
Strange that the Avios would be deducted or at least allocated if the bid was not valid.I’ve emailed them to ask.^
I think the Avios get deducted when you bid, then returned if you don’t win?
I almost went for one of these, my brother-in-law is a fan if one of the more niche clubs, but his travel plans made him available last minute with not enough time to consult and bid. Their next game is a buggy. So might get priced out! Guessing the future rounds will go for a bit more, with presumably the bigger clubs progressing.

Yes.
In my case they have been deducted, not returned and I’ve not had any communication!Raised a “ticket” as well as the email but did not get an email to say I’d raised a ticket.
Had a reply this morning to the ticket I created.
We acknowledge your below query and working on your issue. As per our recent checks, 80000 avios has been refunded back to your account.
No other explanation in the email!
Got a further reply after I queried.
The deduction of you bid was not successful. This sometimes happen due to technical issues between QR and BA account syncing. Since bid was not successful other person won.
It is recommended to transfer and keep Avios in QR FFP account for more than 24 hours to avoid these issues that sometimes may happen however we are not 100 % sure why your Bid was stuck. This is a known issue and we are working on to resolve this.
Thanks for the update. Good that they acknowledge that there is an issue. FYI. Some of the other bidding platforms insist that the points are in the account 24 hours before auction close.
Qatars website seemed to crash close to the end of bidding for the tuesday ones. It kept returning gqteway errors.
Anyone else having issues logging a bid for any of the privilege club events? I continue to get the same error message stating “try bidding again” and then when i big again the website won’t load and issues a bad network gateway message.
I’ve emailed in with screen shots over the weekend but so far no response.Anyone else having issues logging a bid for any of the privilege club events? I’ve emailed in with screen shots over the weekend but so far no response.I have been getting the same error message all weekend. Tried on multiple devices (laptops and iphone) with no success. All very disappointing with the deadline slowly getting closer. Even more annoying is that I have AVIOS ‘On hold’ for a bid I made yesterday that has not actually registered as a bid 🙁

Exactly the same here – they have held 25.500. Seems to me as if you make an unsuccessful bid, and then try and increase your bid the site can’t cope and keeps crashing (whilst reserving your last bid amount).
Thats unfortunate.
Can I do a large bid but if it goes for less, will I pay the lower amount?
Thats unfortunate.
Can I do a large bid but if it goes for less, will I pay the lower amount?
Yes, that is how it works:
– Automatic bidding is enabled: To set up automatic bidding, members must enter the maximum amount of Avios they are willing to spend on the listing. We will bid in increments on your behalf to keep you in the lead but only up to your limit. You will be notified if you have been outbid, so that you can decide to increase your maximum limit.
– Popcorn bidding is enabled: In the event a bid is placed within the final 60 seconds of the auction end time, the Auction will automatically extend for another 60 seconds to allow bids to be placed.
