Hello, we won the bid for the hot wheels show. 52,000 points for 2 tickets.
We’re here now.
Such a waste, drinks and food are extra! I’ve asked different people about our “included” 3 course meal and drinks and they are saying it’s extra!
Also the communication before hand was very poor.
Save your points for flights!
No, there’s definitely a meal and drinks included for this one.
It is (at the moment) dropped from future events except for John Meyer.
I will send you an email for the Qatar person looking after this. She will be working today as its Doha.
Thanks Rob, really appreciated your help
It’s a very nice lounge. I’ll try the food next time.Hello,
Quick update, with the help of Rob it was sorted very quickly. Seems like they were just having teething issues on the first shows.
The lounge, seats, and staff were all brilliant at the show. The restaurant looked very good but sadly we didn’t get to try it.
If there is a show you would like to see I would recommend the 93rd lounge auctions for a special day out.
Maybe a dumb question but are the seats within the lounge, like other boxes? Also, are there toilets in the lounge or just the usual ones outside?

There are lots of unallocated seats in the lounge. Your allocated seat is ‘outside’ of the lounge in an area only for 93rd lounge guests, within the arena. The toilets are outside of the lounge shared with other boxes.
We are booked for a show in October. Would love to hear other people’s experiences and any tricks and tips on how to maximise the experience.
We don’t drink so think we will struggle to spend the full credit. Has anyone done the vip drop off by car? Is it free?
G, please see my full review in the comments here: https://www.headforpoints.com/2024/03/21/avios-redemptions-o2-400-food-and-drink/comment-page-1/#comments
If you have remaining credit left, spend it on bags of sweets for you to take home 🙂
Thanks for the detailed write up, much appreciated. Judging by the prices, spending the credit will be a stretch. Too bad they don’t have merch or something.
Your review is very helpful, thankyou.
The “Pre-bookable VIP drop off by car” – do you know what the range is that the car would have collected you from?
Thank you.
You can’t get picked up from the VIP drop off area, unless this has changed.
Please revert back if this has changed. It would also be good if you or someone else posts the current food menu and how the £400 tab currently works.
I meant where would they pick you up from at the start of the night to take you to the O2?
I live in St Albans… would I be able to get driven the 40 miles to the O2?

Will do!

I was under the impression you need to organise this yourself, the car journey isn’t included, and then you need to provide them the car registration number so you can access the dedicated drop off
Oh wow, thank you for confirming. Surely I can’t be the only one who was misled by the expression “Pre-bookable VIP drop off by car” ?
The drop-off area thing is not worth it, it’s just silly. Any uber car will drop you at the exact same point. It’s just so messy.
As for the tab, it’s great. I won Lauryn Hill and we had £400 available, we only spent £215! What a waste LOL – I don’t drink anymore, so…
Are there any menu photos of whats available there?

Multiple options – the fine dining place, the bar and I think there are snacks in the other bars. You really won’t struggle.
I was going to bid for one of the Pete Tong events but the bidding is already higher than we were willing to go. However, what I did notice is that the auctions for said events close two days after the event itself, so it will be interesting to see how that plays out!
I this there is usually 2-4 weeks between bidding ending and the shows?
Trying to get a couple of events in December. All depends how high they go.
Not going to bid until the end!
I am sure we can polish off £400 quite easily 😂
Does anyone know the earliest time it opens?
One hour before the published ‘Doors’ open time for the event.
Did anyone else try to get Paul McCartney tickets? I missed out because the website broke a few hours before the auction ended on Thursday night. Whichever lucky person bid ~75k before it broke got them. The pair the night before (working website!) went for 137k, about 5K over my budget.
Oh well, I’ll Let It Be.
Hello all,
Have some of the benefits been removed? This is the latest description on the Privilege Club Collection O2 page:

Get access to the exclusive members-only NinetyThird by Qatar Airways and experience ‘The Walkway’, where you’ll feel the rhythm of live music and bask in uninterrupted views of the stage. Plus, enjoy exclusive premium entry lanes and relax in the luxurious American Express Lounge.
There is no reference to the £400 food and drink tab?
Can anyone confirm if this is still a benefit or not?
Thank you.
It’s still listed when you make a bid @Woody
